2 RPO and 3 run outs and last 6 wickets for 49 runs. This match is already lost

Even if Aussies get 60-70 runs least, all they will need is another 150-170 in 2nd inning.

Aussies are likely to get 80-100 runs lead and score 250+ in 2nd inning. 340-350 would be impossible to chase.

Draw is out of equation now.

Can't see this batting chasing anything above 170.

Hopefully win toss in Gabba and put a decent first innings total.

It's nearly impossible to win a test match against Australia in Australia after losing the toss. What happened in last test was a miracle

Gabba is the fastest wicket in Aus right now.

The way we are batting at the most subcontinent esque wicket, looks tough.

What the * was the point of Pujara’s blockathon? I understand 50 odd score looks good from an individual perspective but from teams perspective he had denied scoring opportunity for 150 odd balls, which meant that the moment he got out all the heavy scoring was to be done by our feeble lower order .

Why haven’t the team management altered Pujara’s approach as it hurts teams chances? I know it sounds ironic to be blaming the highest scorer of this innings but it means nothing when Australia gains a lead of 100+

It was delusional for anyone to think India could win after conceding 338. All thus talk if intent is hogwash. We would have lost wickets even quicker.

It was relatively easier pitch to bat on. Everyone got start here.

Maybe but our batsmen dont have the ability to score like that for long periods of time

No disagreement. My mind just goes back to couple of test matches India had won in RSA on spicy pitches. Batted first, scored 200+ and destroyed them completely to gain critical first innings lead.

When you Play tuk tuk then bowlers get right length which cost wicket ,if you attack then their line& length is chance where you can cash it

u cant bat at  28 s/r after playing 175 balls on such a good wkt, understandable till 100 balls but then pick up the momentum

Yet, there are some posters who will turn up and defend this loser/coward mentality of pujara.   I m sick and tired of hearing  "He is tiring out the bowlers "
