I wonder how much Paine is liked by his team mates after he dropped those easy catches. He probably wouldnt want to go near his fast bowlers any time soon.

looks like his sledging only ruffled himself aussies must be mad at him

I am excited for Gabba. We have a very good chance of conquering the so called fortress. Aussies are mentally depleted and frustrated. As much as I have studied their personality and competetive nature, this draw would be a major setback to them because they had a really bad day at work.

our batting order would be

Rohit-Gill-Pujara-Rahane-Mayank-Ashwin-Saha.. probably the weakest indian batting lineup in this century. Unless someone in the top makes a daddy hundred, it will be very tough for our bowlers to cover. I hope rahane wins the toss at least now

It really shows frustration and I don't mind Paine. As long as it doesn't get personal, it should be fair play. Ashwin is extremely strong mentally. The Marnus jibe was funny too.

Buddy, to be honest, the batting hasnt done jackshit till now. So, going forward, it cant do any worse. If they can improve on what they have achieved till now, we can still challenge Australia. Lets see

Have to say that Tim Paine is funny.

To a certain degree.  But at some point, the true culture comes out.  The culture of "if you are not sledging or cheating, you are not trying hard enough to win."  It's like even the nice guys at some point must resort to that to fit in with their mites.

The Australian cricket culture has always been like this since Allan Border's captaincy. The Aussie side under Waugh and Ponting were more harsh with their sledges, an example being McGrath bringing Ganguly's rumored relationship with Nagma on field.

No question.  Ponting and McGrath were among the worst.  As soon as historically quiet teams like India started giving back, they went complaining to daddy Broad about how mean we are.  If you ask me, they are the mentally fragile ones - can dish it out, but not take it.
