Inzi to Babar Azam - Aap hamare "great" player hain.  LOL.  How does one become a a "great" player in 29 test matches ? No wonder even little success gets into the head of this clowns.

And this is coming from a sane voice like Inzi. Imagine the rest of the set up :cantstop:.   They are destined for  atleast another 15 years of  utter mediocrity.

Exactly , aur kya bolu aap L*du player hai

It’s about the premature ejaculation that greenbros get when they find a “ talented” batsman. the likes of umar akmal, ahmad shehzad were called “ great “ as well before they were consigned to the dustbin.

Pak have had such a paucity of world class batting talent that they rush to call a player great after a few series.

babar azam is not even in the top 15 worlds best test batsmen currently, how the hell is he “great “ ?

Babar has played a mere 29/30 test games and scored 5 tons. He averages 35 outside Asia.

By which yardstick does all of this sound "great" ? Only the green yardstick.

like the saying goes, you only need to take a couple of rice from the pot to check if they all are cooked.

When Martin Crowe wrote his "Fab 4" article, Kohli played only 29 matches and hit 6 100s averaging 39. Even Smith only scored 4 100s and averaged 40. Kane played most matches 34 and scored 7 hundreds and still had 40 avg. Only Root averaged 50 at the time.

https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/martin-crowe-test-cricket-s-young-fab-four-774705

But still he correctly predicted that these 4 will be the leading run getters in this era and will all reach the top at some point.. of course he couldn't predict Smith's monster form and how he will outclass the other 3, but you get the point.. around 30 matches are enough to judge if a player is class.. At 30 matches, Babar already has better average than 3 batsmen in fab 4.. so its not preposterous to assume that he is on path to greatness.

He could still fail, mind you. Nothing is certain in cricket. But at this point, he showed enough promise to deserve the current hype

Nothing wrong in what Inzi said but agree about Average Pakistanis hyping Babar Azam, He is definitely not there as far as Great status is concerned, constant efforts to include him in fab-4 making it fab-5, hyping up when he smashed ageing Steyn for few cover drives- all this is laughable.

Aur kya bole wo??  Aap SE bada faaltu player nhi dekha:phehe:.  Babar is their best player so they'll encourage him.

Sachin said Virat & Rohit will break his records once..  He himself knew he was f*** joking

Not a bad list by any means tbh. Ofcourse nothing compares to ours but still quality enough I reckon.

Pak*s are trying to somehow get more relevance in cricket world. Trying to hype up average Babar. The same Babar who raised white flag even before a single was bowled in NZ. He knew he'd have been paraded naked if the team lost under his captaincy.

tbh babar is a pretty decent player but they overhype him cause he's the best they got.

i see him having a decent career similar to someone like mohammed yousuf. will average 4-5 less as it is a tougher era for batting. should retire with a career average of 46-47 in both formats (might maintain the 50 average if he keeps playing zimbabwe/wi/sl a lot though :phehe:). he averages 45 in odis against the top 5 and 43 in tests.
