Axar Patel should have been there,much better bowler than Krunal Pandya and we have not seen the best of his batting yet.

Not sure Gill will get a game with Surya Iyer Pant Rahul candidates of middle order.  Rahul can open as well.

Dhawan is also on thin ice even in ODIs.  Shaw has turned up the heat

They will not be chosen as they are in form . KLR and dhawan would continue to play since eternity. If you dont give chance to youngsters in this tournament dont know where they ll get their chances. Dhawan has no chance of playing next 50 over wc even if he plays he woldn't able to reflect his previous performance

Dhawan getting seniority preference but selectors should have a talk with him as he should not play WC at 38 imo.

Gill, SKY, KL and Pant must all get atleast 2 games.

Chahal in Aus ODIs:

 

1st ODI: 1/89 in 10 overs...worst spinner from both sides

 

2nd ODI: 0/71 in 9 overs....worst spinner from both sides

 

Thankfully dropped in 3rd ODI and we avoided whitewash.

 

Since beginning of 2019 has done nothing of note in ODIs, lost us a home series against Aus, got hammered in the WC, dreadful in WC SF, worst spinner on display in every series for the last 2 years. Can't hold a bat, can't catch, can't field. How is he never dropped?
