Matches like KKR vs. MI raise suspicions about integrity of the game

Nothing suspicious here. It was good bowling, sluggish pitch and good captaincy. Surprisingly or not surprisingly fielding was shoddy if not MI should have won more convincingly

Only an ignorant fool would think that IPL is an 100% clean tournament...there are millions of dollars at stake here, and we are Living in India, the Mother Land of Corruption. Allot of posters here are living in their own Bio Ignorant Bubble happy with their thought that Rambaa!! IPL, the beshttt league in the World Macha, has arrived directly from "Devlok". Allot of them have already forgotten that the Creator of IPL himself is a fugitive and running under corruption charges.

IPl maybe corrupt or not, but crying about fixing whenever one's favorite team loses is a juvenile mentality

Just because India is corrupt can I call you a thief and a criminal?

P.S. for over decades all fixing has been spot fixing and never match fixing which affect match outcomes

I am not crying and neither I have a favourite Team.  How can you be so certain that there is only Spot Fixing and no Match Fixing?

Why stop at IPL then? International cricket must be fixed as well. And if that is what you believe in, why would you even follow the sport?

International cricket was infiltrated with Fixers and we are already past the dark side of it. I fear IPL allows the fixing lobby to do what can't be done in International Cricket. I love the sport, I follow it, but you can't call me an IPL buff, only interesting thing IPL has to offer to me is the performance of upcoming youngsters who we don't see in regular Intl Cricket. You can't expect everyone to love IPL or trust IPL for that matter, if you do, good for you :thumb:

Let's try and understand this -  your view is players like Rohit, Bumrah, Boult, Morgan, Pollard, DK, Shakib, Russell, Cummins, DeKock (some of those involved y'day) are all fixers/potentially corrupt  in IPL but play cleanly when they play for their national sides.

Like I said, if I belived in the above, I will not even follow the sport. But then each to his own :two_thumbs_up:

Heath should be investigated to see how deep the rot goes. I suspect there's lots of fixing in all these t20 leagues, which also bleeds into intl cricket.

I think the one who run these Teams are corrupt, For Instance SRK asking his boys to throw a match or 2 in Between, because he has put stakes on the Ambani, who knows what the players and the owners are actually earning apart from the declared White portion.

Spot fixing can happen (particular no-balls/wides) but match fixing is not happening in a high profile league like the IPL.. you can't buy off enough players like that competing vs the money they make

This match reminded me of the 2002 ICC Champions Trophy against RSA in Colombo.

Chasing 261, they were 192/1 in the 38th over, needing run a ball.

Suddenly Gibbs who was on fire retires hurt and RSA collapsed and lost by 10 runs.

https://www.espncricinfo.com/series/icc-champions-trophy-2002-03-61114/india-vs-south-africa-1st-sf-66192/full-scorecard

Gibbs admitted to fixing one match, but it could have been more than one.

That’s why I never take IPL seriously.

Bollywood is a gutter. Always hand in glove with dons directly and indirectly - they can stoop to any level.
