People are dying. And these people are busy sharing their holiday pics from Goa, Maldives or wherever.

Everyday on the NDTV site, there is some news article on some two bit wannabe posting their holiday pictures. And rubbing it in.

Besharam.

We'll they're showbiz celebs, not exactly creme de la creme of society at least in my opinion.

Secondly, if they follow covid guidelines they're actually doing better than most of the masses.

^ Shobha De said something similar.

Another way to look at it: Their followers and those who visit their IG pages do not see this as a rubbing it in. A general look at the comments would show you that people by and large are appreciative/ have positive things to say.

Someone wants to live their life and is willing to travel keeping all travel restrictions in mind, so whats the issue?

Where is the insensitivity?

We have no right to comment when we have invited the world to come and play in IPL in the heart of the country where Covid cases have been rising and us fans have been enjoying every bit of the action which cricket has provided too. This should be right up there being extremely wrong too if we are trying to judge someone in these times.

Absolutely traumatic visuals. Honestly, can't watch.

Are they so insensitive to people's suffering that they can post their stupid holiday pictures amidst all the carnage? The lengths people will stoop to for likes and followers.

Just doesn't sit well with me.

There are lots of things to get angry about, especially super spreader events like political rallies. This is just misplaced anger, as long as they are following covid rules, they are free to do anything.

Not a celebrity, but guilty as charged. Had to take the spring vacation that was bought last year. Didn’t make it a big thing for friends and family, didn’t post photos to share etc., good for economy, I guess. Had been to Gayle and Usain country.

On OP, they do it for rozi roti. They are hardly in demand for say 5-10 years and after their shelf life, they have to life off their fame and money earned. Unlike us, they can’t work until we have retirement savings.

IPL 2020 was planned based on pandemic and hence wasnt played in india. IPL 2021 was also planned. India is in no flyzone list, of players home countries who are playing in 2021 version. But when they flew to India, they didn’t knew that they were flying into a place wich will turn toxic zone in matter of days.

IPL is one thing, that keeps our mind off temporarily from all bad things happening around us in India. I say continue with IPL

And that is fine. All I am saying, before we judge anyone in these times we must raealize these are weird times. It is better not to judge anyone.

We have all made some mistakes or shown some sort lf complacency already since pandemic started regardless of whereever we live.

Its just not even that they have ppl who rely on them to. Celebs have big staff whom they have to pay

It's not so much that they're going on holiday.

It's the "look at me, LOOK AT ME" attention seeking behaviour that is disturbing.

The visuals coming out of India are horrific, to say the least. Make shift crematoriums are popping up. And even they can't keep pace with the number of decreased that need to be cremated.

You click on COVID related news. And a banner pops up about some stupid celebrity going on holiday somewhere.

How insensitive and tone deaf do you have to be? Can't you hold off from posting your fake photoshopped Instagram photos for a week or two?

Heart breaking scenes.

Can't help tearing up.

If this is the reality on the ground, you need to have special level of apathy to display your "look at me, LOOK AT ME" behaviour on social media.
