Respect for COVID's power to somehow find a way to checkmate you ... took all imaginable precautions including 1 dose of vaccine (per the schedule) but in isolation now :(( ... COVID won against yours truly

A slogan for this great virus - "No matter what you do, COVID will get you"

You will be fine.

One shot barely gives you 60% coverage so I understand why it happened.

Listen to your doctor and stay in touch with him. Your doctor is the only one you should trust as none of us are qualified to give you advise.

Stay hydrated, monitor oxygen, get lot of rest .

Time to binge watch some movies and enjoy.

I will be thinking abouut you and wishing you a speedy recovery.

I don’t know but it is unlikely as pneumonia tends to follow a severe viral infection (flu/covid) ... the issue started when I took the first dose of the vaccine (Pfizer) at the end of April (here you get your 2nd dose after 4 months). In early May, I got sick but I was under the impression that it is the side effect of the vaccine. Appears as if I may have acquired the virus around the same time but the vaccine camouflaged this.

The 2nd week was up and down so at times I thought that I was getting better and at times, it felt I was getting a relapse (so a confirmation towards a potential viral infection - flu or covid).

In the 3rd week, I suspected acquiring pneumonia based on some key symptoms (and viral infections would go away in like 2 weeks). Since to cure bacterial pneumonia you need antibiotics (for any type of viral, doctors do not bother to prescribe medications here in general. You would use over the counter pain relievers to control fever, aches, cough, etc), I called upon my doctor, who immediately put me on antibiotics and also asked me to rush to take a COVID test on the same day. Next day, I received positive COVID result and was mandated to go into isolation for the required period (10 days).

So basically, I have not slept well for 3 weeks now.

I think we are in the stage where COVID is basically in the air. It's air bourne now. So even if you stay inside your homes without going anywhere , you can still get it. One of my relatives got COVID, despite not going out for weeks, and being fully vaccinated, and they are hospitalized.

Your case is peculiar.

It is airborne but does not go beyond 6 ft as it is a very heavy virus.

Could have rephrased it better. The droplets caryingthe virus cannot go beyond 6 ft in majority of cases as they are heavy. It is all about probability.

Answer to your question.

Here the values for Covid virus:

Diameter : 100  nm

Volume: 10^6 nm^3

Mass:  10^3 MDa

Mass of proteins is in megadaltons.

1 kg  ==  1.66053906660x10^-27

You do the rest.

Best wishes @zen

If you wish, then I could once again become a Muslim and also do "Prayers" for you :phehe:

I am a big fan of nutritional cure.

Foods to be taken

  • Drink plenty of pure filtered water
  • Plenty of fresh organic vegetables especially romaine lettuce, carrots, beets, onions, celery, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, cucumber, radishes, Jerusalem artichokes, beans (except soy and green peas)
  • Veggie soups, miso soup, preferably soaked nuts and seeds, organic, free-range meats, poultry, and fish.
  • Small quantities of fresh sweet fruits – limit your selection to plums and pears, all berries, including Goji berries, and other less sweet exotic fruits
  • Non-sweet fruits such as avocado, pepper, tomato and cucumbers
  • Garlic, ginger, cayenne pepper, chili peppers, and onions should be eaten regularly, due to their powerful health benefits for the lungs and overall respiratory system.

Foods to be avoided

  • Avoid eating foods that you are allergic or sensitive to
  • All sugar and sugar products, including an excess of sweet fruits
  • Soft drinks and commercially processed foods
  • All foods containing artificial ingredients, such as additives, colorings, flavorings, and preservatives.
  • Milk and dairy products, as they contribute greatly to mucus in the body
  • Coffee and all other caffeinated products.

Vitamins and Folic Acid etc. ..... are also very necessary. May be others could help you more in details with it.

Foods to be avoided are the reason I enjoy life.

Coffee is my favorite drink. I drink at least 4 to 6 cups a day.

I love soft drinks.

All good foods have artifical stuff.

You know I am doing this for fun.
