@Mariyam you got both shots!!!!! That's real quick, did you manage via the app or some camp? 'And what was the gap between the 2 doses?

I got via the app. I was checking 3-4 times a day. One day I found the slots...immediately booked ours. I called the neighbors to book too immediately...the slots were literally full in 3 minutes between me calling her and she opening the cowin app.

I see you use 'pig' as an added taunt in my case. :p:

Well played.

Jokes aside, it was the docs and the front line workers who got their initial dosage in mid January. They are the true guinea pigs.

Covaxin. Felt beat up first 2 days ... no issues after. Coming up on second dose soon. Any doctors here? Is it ok if you delay your second dose by a week or 2?

Get it on time but if dealyed dont sweat it. I am not a doctor but lot of countries are pushing the second dose back.

Btw, AstraZeneca (which is probably same/similar to Covishield) is banned in many countries as it can create a blood clot (% of people getting a clot is very low). In Canada, AZ is only available to those who took its first dose when it was not banned if I am not wrong. Keep that in mind.

A woman is said to have got bell's palsy (the chances of such things happening can be very low):

Anyone who is taking covishield, AstraZeneca should take one aspirin a day for few days to counter blood clotting.

I took my first dose of Covishield last Monday. Zero after affects. No fever, no pain in the arm, nothing at all. Haven't taken any medication since. I think post vaccination reactions varies from person to person.

I have been able to book my 2nd dose before the end of June. However, in Canada, they mix Pfizer and Moderna, so if you received one in your first does, the second could be different. Would mixing m-RNA vaccines cause any travel restrictions as I heard the right now some countries are not allowing ppl who took AZ or vaccines not approved by them? Mixing m-RNA vaccines may not be approved in some countries :hmmm:

It appears as if for mRNA vaccines, you could be required to take a booster shot after your 2nd shot as the best effectiveness is generally till 6 months after the 2nd dose ... Appears as if this (booster) could become like flu vaccines, which many ppl take every yr :hmmm:
