we should play horses for courses. Boom is rusty and in decline, Ishant is slipping back to mediocrity. Had we had a fit Bhuvi, the ideal trio in Eng would be Bhuvi, Siraj, and Shami.

He is very much eligible - for immediate retirement. 100+ tests of mostly so-so performance. Had a very good period of resurgence after working with Jason Gillespie but now he is tool old to be impactful. 2007 was 14 years ago, he isn't Anderson to keep on playing.

If this benchoth salah louda dint play, we would have conceded half the runs he gave away. Plus thakur and ashwin would have tonked a few and perhaps we would have shut England out for under 320.

Maninder singh appears to be the only former player capable of calling a spade a spade viz a viz Kohli. Everyone else are just sycophants.
