  This is what happens when you directly translate a regional language saying into English. Got taken to task by his mom and wife.   "ooran pondatti oor pondattiya vida eppavum nalla irukkum" it is a figurative speech in Tamil.

Dinesh Kartik has a tendency of getting carried away, he got carried away there, I think he was an extremely talented batsman, Talent of the level of Yuvraj probably at that time, but kept getting carried away and threw away his wicket. We saw that glimpse in his commentary too.

These days? Pretty sure women always felt offended by such jokes  but the guys making thrse jokes didn't care and these women couldn't do anything. . Now those women have a voice and getting heard.

 

All this so called snowflakes and PC culture is just people who were butts of jokes having more power today. The hurt or feeling bad was always there but the ones making jokes were all powerful while others had no power to hit back. They hid those hurt deep inside.  Now when hit back these same people cannot take it 

 

Social media has a lot of evil but it has also empowered common people to hit back
