It feels better than men victory.... Wonderful news!!

I expected the men to win vs gb.

This was huge upset.

The calmness with which indian women sat on the lead was epic to see. Despite goo ref desicions. Did not let it get to them

Yes

That video refs were on drugs

This is the story with video refereeing. Even with all available evidence and time to make decisions they bottle it and pussy out making the 'safe' decision. It's why even var in football is a shitshow.

Special win, best couple of hours in this Olympics for me, even above the medal winning performances.

But can we address the **** officiating against our team today? How long will this nonsense go on? The umpires were doing their best to favor our opponents (same in the GBR match yesterday) and this won't stop in SF, F, bronze medal matches. As such the eves are punching above their weight whilst also playing delightful hockey, now additional mental pressure because of match officials.

Close-knit crooks these European/Australian/Argentinian officials, can't tolerate outsiders getting entry into their exclusive club. Guess what, we are going to annoy them by making deep runs for many many more years to come, jealous/petty goras better get used to it. We will reclaim what is rightfully ours. So many rule changes to kill Indian hockey, yet here we are.

I just woke up and saw the result of Indian women against Australia… I still cannot believe this has happened ! From barely qualifying for the QF to beating top teams.. wow just wow. Truly Chak De India moment.

I hope this gives the umph to the Indian men to batter Belgium in the semis. Two Golds in hockey? Someone please slap me

After these great results and emotional highs from the Olympics, tough to pump myself up for the Eng test series. Tokyo Olympics was the main event this year and to see so many unheralded sportspersons deliver at the biggest stage of them all, dope.

Have been a dedicated hockey fan for almost 2 decades now, more disappointments than any other sport in India...one of my earliest memories was India blowing a 3-0 lead to go down 3-4 in the dying minutes against the Dutch men in 2003 CT. To see the turnaround, amazing. The last 8 quarters of Indian hockey have been delightful, to say the least...elite mental toughness. This win over Australia though has a special place in Indian sports history.

I really hope this performance by both Men and women bas the 1983 cricket effect and the public get into playing more which means more tv money is pumped in which would help grassroots infrastructure. Too long the chewtiya goras have owned us in Hockey. We need to take back the dominance and rightful place of our national game.
