More the humidity, less it travels in the air I think. Which is counter-intuitive as humidity decreases air density slightly. Maybe some physics expert can provide an explanation, anything to do with spin/revolutions of the thrown object? We have enough examples of this in tennis, like in Miami Masters 1000 vis-a-vis Indian Wells @I6MTW @Cricketics @Real McCoy

Drier, hotter, desert like conditions means more distance/speed through the air at least in tennis. Also altitude matters, and wind direction/speed.

High humidity decreases the air density. Tokyo was certainly humid.

Pakistan the largest country not to medal, 7th straight Games in a row. Last won a (hockey) bronze in 1992 Barcelona. Respect to athletes like Arshad Nadeem and Talha Talib, but that is one appalling record. Once their hockey declined they stopped having realistic medal hopes in Olympics. Kaali Dal should focus on helping out athletes like Nadeem, instead of ranting like a psycho on twitter 24x7.

Bangladesh has an even more pathetic record, yet to win a single Olympic medal, they don't even come close. Do they have prominent sportspersons apart from a couple of cricketers?

At least Lankans had the legendary sprinter Jayasinghe who won silver in 2000 Sydney:hatsoff:. Even Afghans have a couple of medals in Taekwondo since 2008 Beijing.

pakistan will always find it tough to medal due to the horrible conservative nature of the country.

50% of the medals are women's medals and that's out of their grasp. i mean their badminton players, runners, hockey players play in full pants lol.

and main issue is their country is poor. like their per capita income and hdi is where india was in 2007-08ish and they are growing way slowly then we did then. they struggle to medal in cwg and asian games.

They have a few boxers in the finals, while China doesn't have anyone in finals. Should end as number 1.

GB Vs China boxing final in 10 minutes. China have to win to stay ahead if they lose lock for USA.
