It's stupid from us to expect Rahane to be dropped. If he came thus far doing zilch, he will continue to play.

 

WTC final was a debacle. It was a wake up call, but our selectors' mentality didn't Change even after that.

All his insightful technical expertise is mostly overshadowed by inherent biases in his commentary. If it was just the former, it would have been good to try him out as a coach in the past. He's a tough cookie who wouldn't have backed down.
