Almost actual storyline can be used with bit of bollywood masala.

Young kid, body shamed by other kids of village, joins the academy to lose weight. It's already known that no one can throw beyond 20 m in the academy, but this kid throws it 25 m.

Which magazines are you reading?

Interestingly, he began his tryst with sports to shed a few extra kilos off his body. This was a boy who hated physical activity. An indulgent lifestyle meant that young Neeraj was carrying a weight of 90 kilos at 12 years of age. It took nudging and urging from his family for him to hit the gym and attain a basic level of fitness.

@coffee_rules Sounds about right.

But why did you leave out the most interesting aftermath?

You know the part where you bump 15 threads and outrage over the movie for 6 months spamming the board using no name twitter accounts blaming hinduphobia, dawoodwood, bhaiwood, Libbus, commies, urduwood, Pandit Nehru, Javed Akhtar, pseudo secularists, Virushka, 'peacefuls', Democrats, red ants and gajar halwa for bringing disrepute to India/Hindus/Hinduism.

Touche’!  Fodder for me to outrage later. Bollywood is fully capable of producing such a script. Look at Sherni based on Avni the tiger. how they Bollywoodized the script changed the Tiger shooter from a Muslim to a tika wearing, bhajan chanting sanghi who kills the Sherni. The Hindu forest officer who fight the system is made to be a Christian South Indian fighting Patriarchy and inter-faith marriage issues. Why did they have to do it?

:mad2: when did I blame red ants or gajar ka halwa for sedition?

Neeraj a fat kid from village bullied by other kids .He had a crush on rich man's daughter  who also like him. Neeraj's uncle took him to academy where a coach realise his potential.Neeraj started training and becomes good Javelin thrower.

Neeraj  grows up and won several medals . He then get back to village to find his love. He finds her and their love blossom. Neeraj is now a verry happy man. He looses focus on his career.

In India a big competition of Javelin throw get organised. Here we get the entry of Vetter who is white supremacist  Neeraj  participate but could not throw above 75 meter. Vetter threw 97 meter in front of India crowd . Vetter abuses India and Indians and call them genetically weak and challenge 1.4 billion Indians to beat him in upcoming Olympics

This incident change Neeraj. He goes back to his coach who promises to train him hard. Now Neeraj gets Rocky type training.

Olympics start  He meets other india Olympians  Hockey players  and befriends. Here we have light music fun etc. Meanwhile his Olympian friends win medals but none of them gets gold. Vetter again mocks India and  for not winning a gold. Neeraj also befriend  Nadeem a fellow Pakistani Javelian thrower. As the round passes Vetter realises the danger from Neeraj  so before the night of final he decides to attack Neeraj with fellow Javelin throwers. Neeraj fought them .Vetter attack Neeraj with Javelian and about to injure him but suddenly Nadeem comes in front of him and gets badly injured. When Olympic authorities were taking him to hospital he took promise from Neeraj that he will take revenge from Vetter for not only india but all the other nations which Vetter abused

Final Starts . Both Vetter and Neeraj compete fiercely but Vetter is ahead. Then last throws come Vetter throws 99 meter and start his crazy celebrations on Ground. In order to Vetter Neeraj now needs to 100 meter an impossible task . He remember all the insults of Vetter and nadeems injury and throws the Javelin which not only crosses 100 meter but also hit Vetter who was celebrating at line. In this way he took revenge of Insult of Indians and also Nadeems injury

Award winning film, grabs all Filmfare, Screen, Mafatlal, Gutkha King Awards for sure

Race has already begun. Here's a poll on who should play the guy...

https://in.style.yahoo.com/who-is-the-best-actor-to-play-olympics-neeraj-chopra-in-his-biopic-103215350.html

I think some important plot twists and sentiment scenes and people missing from Singh Bling's script..

Family sentiment scene - Separation from the mother as he goes away to training camp for the first time. Mother feels bad as she does her daily chores but Neeraj is actually missing his crush who cries in gardens and the terrace. Token friend for the crush tries to console her. Mother fondly remembers feeding Neeraj as a baby, as a toddler doing something naughty and then as a kid running away from her and hiding while she looks for him.

The initial foe who becomes best friend and comedian. Neeraj will betray his trust at least once as he becomes more arrogant with success. Friend will take fall for Neeraj when Neeraj does something stupid so that he can continue his dream and gets kicked out of the Athletics team. Neeraj feels bad but ego won't allow him to apologize. Neeraj remembers his friend's sacrifice just before he goes to Tokyo when a coach tells him how indebted he is to his friend. On winning the gold, Neeraj seeks him out back in the village while the now impoverished friend is folding bedsheets at home. Sentiments galore as Neeraj with the Gold on his neck chokes back his tears and they run towards each other to hug one another. Friend forgives all.

The drama scene where he falls for a seductress betraying his true love in an item number. Said crush walks in just as the seductress is forcing Neeraj to drink and appears to be in a compromised position. Runs away crying once she sees this. Neeraj doesn't care at that time.. but when he becomes injured - he woos her back and she becomes the motivation for his success towards recovery. She makes food for him and feeds him while he is unable to use his arm. She uses her dupatta to wipe his sweat occasionally and looks away shy when he looks back at her with admiration.

A perfect Bollywood script.

He’s an orphan to start with. His first teacher was a Muslim who provided him food and shelter and took him to train himself. But, later he took him to. a sports facility headed by a Hindu coach who abuses the boy and his caste. He was a jealous man , but has a loving and caring wife who raises Neeraj secretly as a foster child , but dies before he succeeds. The same villain coach has a daughter who secretly loves Neeraj (break for some songs). Neeraj’s friends are all Muslims and Sikhs, all his Hindu classmates hate him except a Dalit friend.

In Olympics, he is helped by the Pakistani Nadeem, whom he befriends. Nadeem knows English and helps Neeraj who is awkward in the Olympic village as some Korean and Whites laugh at him for not speaking English well. Nadeem is leading the competition, but is tragically  injured by a jealous white who trips him from behind. Nadeem goes medalless. Break for some rudaali background music.

A lot of white girls throw themselves at him in the Olympic village for his hot looks, but Neeraj doesn’t reciprocate as his heart is in India with a belle he has given his word to (remember the villaIn coach’s daughter)., breaks for a fantasy song in a exotic foreign locale , a waterfall preferably.

He wins the gold with a new WR, despite the saazish of his incompetent coaches (all Hindus) and bad administrators. Throw in some saffron politics here. Saffron PM congratulations him and points to the fact he is a Hindu and a proud asset to Hindutva. Neeraj says he is Indian first and nothing else (break for a patriotic song)

Going back home with his gold medal in hand, running to his girl in pouring rain, goons attack and they snatch it from him. His Sikh friend helps him with some dishoom dishoom and recovers the medal, but does in vain.

The Hindu villain coach father realizes his folly (jaa beti jeela apni zindagi dialogue thrown) and apologizes. Neeraj forgives him and ties the gold medal as Mangalsutra to his girl - Neerja!

@Mariyam with her nepo Bollywood friends  can direct this movie

Dude honestly you should send this to kojo he will steal it from you. Very good bollywood script.

Javelin throw finals scene: Neeraj throws 87 metres in his first throw. everybody else either throws <80m or keeps fouling - except Vetter, who throws his third throw at 86m and hence both of them qualify for the final round. Then we come down to the final set of throws, with Neeraj still at first place and Vetter at second. The German guy has the second to last throw of the group. He taunts Neeraj in Hindi - “Aaj Gold hum leke jayega, tum kuch nahi kar sakta “. The German proceeds to throw his final throw - and records 90.60m, shattering the Olympic record. The German celebrates wildly with his coach and fellow German athlete, and then winks at Neeraj. It’s now Neeraj’s chance to throw - if he wants to win gold, he has to create a new Olympic Record. He takes a deep breath, and begins his run up. During the slow motion shot of this run up, we get to see the memories and experiences that he has faced leading up to this stage, including his battle with obesity, motivational words from his coach, etc. etc. We finally arrive at the end of the run up at which point he finally releases the javelin - cut to scenes from the living rooms of different households across the nation, eyes glued to their TVs with bated breath, Mouths agape. also cut to a shot where his coach has a similar reaction. The javelin finally lands. The distance recorded by Neeraj on his throw is revealed to be 90.61 meters - the new OR. His coach runs upto him and hugs him tightly. Delirium ensues in all households across the country, with every family celebrating by dancing in their respective state’s dance forms. Vetter is perplexed, aghast and can’t believe what he has just seen. Neeraj with a smile on his face, walks up to him and tells him in Hindi - “LPU ka launda hoon bhai, paidaishi Gold pakka tha ” and slowly walks away. Vetter breaks down crying
