Glad to see tons of new threads popping up in a matter of 1 day, All dedicated to this living legend.  :adore:     There were never so many threads dedicated to our fab 3 combined, in ICF history.

Watch Hong Kong sixes, if you enjoy sub-standard performances.

Nothing wrong with HK or whatever 6s. Cricket is cricket. Even gully cricket has its pros ... As for this game, I am happy with Pujara's performance, the lone warrior

Rahane and Kohli's form are bigger problems than him. Pujara in the past few years has better knocks than both. Also, don't forget he bats in a more challenging position.

If I had my way,  I would drop Chokohli and Hahane and still keep Puji. At least he put up a fight. I know it is 13 players, but we need that many against Inglaterra! They will make an exception!

Rohit (c)

Shaw

Puji (vc)

Yadav

Rahul

Vihari

Pant (wk) - last chance

Ashwin

Jadeja

Shardul

Shami

Bumrah

Siraj

I will be on vacation next week flying to a mountainous location in West Canada but will try to keep an eye on the 4th test through the cell. If possible, tag me if the legendary Pujara continues with his good work despite not being at his best   :eyedance:

IMO Chepu is definitely long past his peak and is not the best choice. but I would still take him over kaptaan and "Mr. Important" vice-kaptaan. Moreover, throwing someone in at 3 directly might be a problem too.

Rahul instead of Shaw anytime. Shaw's technique much to be desired

No Chepu either. yes, he has tried hard, but it's not enough. if we lose the next test, might as well as try a whole new team.

Shaw, Rohit, Vihari, Mayank, KLR (wk), SKY, Ashwin, Thakur, Shami, Bumrah, Siraj

That team will 100% win the game.  Enough quality & match winners there.

All this praise for a specialist one-format batsman who averages in mid-20s for last 2.5 years? Have our standards fallen so low? Even BD is more proactive when it comes to weeding out mediocrity.

Our standards are not that low as such, but our levels of toadying and cronyism and making deities out of mortals has, indeed, reached unprecedented levels.
