Even someone like Holder becomes unplayable. Eng lost their last series there, not an easy place to bat. Almost all WI batsmen average higher overseas than in their backyard. See is performances in India over the decades, in SL, in Aus. Dravid benefitted from playing with a relatively strong batting line up. Many times, I saw him hit runs when Sehwag had softened the opposition. I know you're emotional right now but Dravid started in 96. He walked in the first over most of the times. Sehwag was not there until late 2001. your wheels are falling off now. pujara is nowhere close to the level Dravid was. its only salty pujara fans (I never knew there was one) who will type like you did. dont embarrass yourself sarcastic, Cricspin and kohli 1 2

Bowled out for 100 and 66 in SA, Pak cleaning them up at home in 1999 Asian test championship, the disappointing series in SL in 2007/8, … Hardly did well with bowlers like both McGrath & Warne, Donald, both Wasim-Waqar in the opposition

Agarkar did well esp. at Adelaide. They lost to Aus at home at Nagpur. Ganguly used to complain about green wkts. These guys are hyped up because all of them playing together, along with Sehwag-Gambhir, formed Ind’s strongest batting period for the team. Throw someone from that group in this group, they would not make as much impact as Pujara, whose performances early on helped some of these guys to extend their careers. Put Pujara in that group, batting with Sehwag and his avg can be much higher Edited September 2, 2021 by zen
Popular Post Gambit Posted September 2, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 2, 2021 This is what blind hero worship looks like. What is surprising is the epic level of fanboyishness for a player who is not even close to being an ATG. Comparing Pujara to Dravid is like comparing Pandya to Kapil…oh wait. That’s already been done by the same poster Vijy, raki05, kohli and 8 others 1 10

Currently someone like bumrah ashwin average below 25 and others well below 30. No comparison at all Dude the biggest proof is that india has never lost after scoring 300 first since 2015. That lineup used to score 350+ for fun, there was no way they would lose with this line up. Put Pujara in that group, batting with Sehwag and his avg can be much higher You're hiding the info that the fab 4 came first then sehwag, gambhir, zaheer, bhajji, pathan, etc. srinath and kumble were our only spearheads in the 90s. while that worked ok at home we were found out due to guys like venky prasad, dodda ganesh, mohanty, etc. Our opening batting looked like either one of Sidhu, Ajay Jadeja, Rathore. Even VVS used to open. Sometimes azhar would send up mongia as a make shift opener. it continued with msk prasad in Aus of all places. Regarding losing to Aus in 04, that was one of the greatest teams ever compared to WI teams of the 80s. We are facing England. I think we had enough or do you want some more Cricspin, rollingstoned and raki05 3
Adamant Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 Haha, the old blame the bowlers for phab 4 failures drama. The fab 4 once had to chase 200 runs against zimbabwe at harare, do you know what happened then? Heath Streak, broke them up in pieces. Those 4 batsman were good individual players but they rarely clicked together in clutch situations. Basically a team of selfish individuals who always kept personal interests above the team, no wonder one of them still cries about a freakin double century. What did they fkin win? One series in Eng, that's it bas hogaya?
RedFever Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 That 90 odd runs in the third match in a loosing effort will come back to haunt us, when can we git rid of this guy raki05 1

Posts like these show you have absolutely no clue about cricket and people should ignore all your posts. do you have any clue how often 200 was chased on those pitches. In 4th innings they were minefields Your beloved batsmen who get 78 and 35 all out on these pitch wouldnt cross double digits as a team The very fact you take the double century comment out of context shows what a slimy guy you also are I will repeat again (which you will ignore). Since 2015 we havent lost a SINGLE match where we scored 300 in the first innings. Fab 4 used to score 350+ in first innings for fun in every country. They wouldnt have lost a single match with this bowling Edited September 2, 2021 by New guy vijaydude, raki05 and Cricspin 3

Avgs can depend upon conditions too so if bowling avgs are up, so are the batting averages. Forget about winning, these guys have lost Ind many games. Apart from the ones I listed, I recall Sehwag hitting a 195 at Melbourne and these guys just falling like pins. Despite playing 150-200 tests, one can hardly recall too many incidence. They used to fall apart v McGrath. Ind on many occasions used to struggle to score 250 in an inning. Dfficult to see them do well against Cummins, Starc, and Hazlewood. Even in Zim, they faltered as a group. Yes, they would line up vs BD Adamant 1
