Majestic Posted October 8, 2021 Posted October 8, 2021 I think IPL or perhaps T20 itself is a lot about matchups of the team. As example, Delhi would prefer facing CSK and KKR over RCB. Reason is because they have quality pace attack and it might work well against KKR and CSk Indian batting. CSK would actually prefer facing RCB over any of KKR or DC especially DC because of same reason. RCB would not want to be up against CSK as that could well be curtains for them, especially if the wicket is slow. All in all, I would bet on CSK vs KKR or CSK vs DC Final.

After watching an all round awful captaincy performance by Kohli, made me realise that I might been a tad harsh on Dhoni playing as a specialist captain for CSK last 2 years. Only CSK among playoffs sides managed to beat them that too was nail biter & could have gone either way. DC has serious issues in batting & there is a reason they have hit the least amount of sixes & boundaries among all teams by a comfortable margin. They need to inject some aggression in middle order & get Billings to play & push Hetmeyer at 4. They are boring side to watch otherwise. CSK looks well set for the title this time... DC potential wise can stop them but how are they supposed to get past KKR?
