Omg, waqar Younis says the most incredible thing about rizwans innings was when he prayed namaz in front of Hindus, shocking.

It might seem incredible but I am not surprised at all this stuff coming.

1) The country is under free fall. Religious extremist have taken over the narrative.

2) There is a lot of pent up anger on the political and cricketing isolation. Indian poking fun and being condescending also doesn't help.

3) The country is desperate to hold on to something to salvage its identity. As for India, we have issues but it will be the fastest growing economy this year, next year and years to follow. We will continue to rule the cricketing and this rude shock might even be helpful.

So offering Namaz in the middle of Hindus is a big thing for these guys? Such inferiority complex...

Because a lot of Pakistanis are mentally so retarded that they know that they wont/cant allow Puja or any other form of worship by non Muslims in front of themselves. It basically exposes their fascist mentality as a naion where senior ATGs of Gentlemans game carry that mindset

They are clear about their priorities and goals. Whereas some of our people live in an alternate reality where Pakistan is a friendly country with nice, tolerant, secular people.

Few days ago Harbhajan was virtually slapped by Akhtar, and Kohli and Lt. Col Thala were hugging and getting friendly with them.

One channel went on and on with thugs (aka former cricketers) across the border last week. Heard some "friendly" banter also happened after the game on Sunday.

You give them voice, they will feel like they are important. Our media is letting us down and making them feel important. This is expected/

Who gives a sh-t how waqar thinks. Just because they have a crap thought process doesnt mean we take it to heart. We should continue behaving the way we would against anyone else , we as a nation will have to move on and let them be in there la la land.

Lets look at reality, loan amount Pak as a nation is seeking was made by selling two IPL team. Do we really need fall at their level ?

Not surprising. This is a person who has been living in Australia and perhaps is an Aussie citizen. For each of them - whether it is Sohail Tanvir (Hinduon ki zeheniyat hi aisi hai), Shoaib Malik (apologies to the muslims across the world after 2007 T20 WC final), Bazid Khan (kuffar toot gaya), that cartoon Rasheed their interior minister (this was a victory of islam over Hindus),and now Waqar, they are all one and the same.

We should have absolutely nothing to do with these religious fanatics. Boycott them everywhere in every single sphere - sports, culture, business, politics and do not even get them on Indian TV. Do not let them earn a single penny off us. And do everything we can to hurt their cricket. These fanatics deserve nothing but contempt.

This man is based in australia, played over 100 test matches, has travelled and  interacted with so many different ethnicities, nationalities etc but none of it could have a impact on this person's mentality, the rotten mindset is ingrained and is praying namaz Infront of Hindus some sort of a religious achievement?

When you are a bankrupt country with inferiority complex owing to mediocrity, a win over arch rivals is bound to create the feeling of having conquered the world.

My bigger irritation is, why on earth are our current and former cricketers shaking hands with these criminals! We surely can avoid that.

This is just Waqar being idiotic. Namaz isn't prayed as a message to people of other religion anyway.

As a Pakistani, I apologise for his stupid remarks

You apologizing will not make any difference tbh, this is waqar Younis not some ordinary road side thug, the anchor had a cheeky smile on his face and so called humanitarian akthar who wishes to bridge gaps between india and Pakistan did not say a word either, this must be mainstream behaviour in pakistan and am glad India lost, hopefully our people finally get to see the real face of these fascists who wish to play cricket with India.

Our boys are coconuts, unaware of ground reality and geo politics, they don't have a ideology and are confused souls, the earlier lads gambhir, raina, sehwag, sreesanth rp Singh had some fire in the belly, even the u19 lads jaiswal and co looked determined in the last u19 world cup and thrashed Pakistan.

Barring Virat, the rest seem to keep a safe distance from these guys. Chahal has been outspoken too against cross border terrorism from Pak.

I am fairly certain this is another false dawn in Pak cricket. Let them enjoy this as it won't last long.

In India, Muslims pray around Hindus and Hindus around Muslims all the time.

Co-existence must be an alien concept in Pakistan.

I want to like this post a second time and also report this for being so wholesome. This is true secularism.

Fortunately or unfortunately, many of us are jaded now about the concept of secularism. With people and thoughts like you, it is evident that all hope cannot be lost for us lot yet. Wholeheartedly I am amazed and humbled!

People are making a big fuss about toxic hate-filled comments on social media against Shami - and rightly so.

However, its so hypocritical of these Pakistanis - literally all of them - to pontificate about India, all the while making horribly bigoted comments - not from random idiots, but from their government ministers who claim it was a 'victory for islam', commentators saying 'kuffar toot gaya', supposed 'legend' former players singing praises of 'doing namaz in front of hindus'.  I mean, this is ridiculous.

no need of taking the acts of these   religious fanatics  w.r.t cricket results seriously. When they win against India  they will go OTT and when they lose  there  would be a sta te of emergency in the entire country of theirs. With this attitude  of theirs they  would lose more than they benefit in the long run . What Indians need to do is to keep level headed and  concentrate on doing at the best level  all that is required to put up the best effort against them on the field.
