The problem with Indian cricket is the "seniority" complex. A coterie of senior players in National team determine everything related to Indian cricket. And the brainless fans prostrate  like braindead slaves.  

 

A tough task master like Alex ferguson is apt.

Senior or not one thing is fir sure even Kohli dont has guts to movk dravid , remember the stature of dravid he is next to Tendulkar, Gavaskar and dev,plus a apolitical guy ,you can't get away if u disrespect him more than BCCI , indian public chhitar le ke peeche pad jayegi, plus he can be a calming influence for guys like pandya,pant and kishan,i seriously hope we bring raina,pathan, Agarkar into setup .

Having guided U-19 & A-teams, with several players like Prithvi Shah, Gill , Ishan Kishan  graduating to senior team who better than Dravid to coach during this transition years ... I would be happy if we see emergence of another 2-3 spinners and our spin playing ability improves

Kumble did not have much coaching credential before his coaching stint .That won't be the problem with Dravid .The seniors can have as many tantrums as they want. As long he helps the younger players with their techniques, that will work.

The rumors about Kohli losing ODI captaincy if true will work in Dravid's favour.

He did ,but issue here is given our batting culture , plus stories regarding dravid also his involvement with u19 cricket means he gets more respect compared to kumble,also when kumble Kohli issue came Kohli was new into his captainship
