I would understand if the avg of 26-27 in the last 11-12 tests since that last 100 was a concern but not hitting a 100 a not a big concern relatively speaking

Rahane averages 24 and Pujara 28 in the same period.

 

Dropping one would mean the other two can't hold their places either. And hence the three continue to play. If only BCCI showed courage and dropped all three. The batting wouldn't do any worse. Next year we play SL and BD, if these guys retain their places, they'll all fill their boots against them. Better to go with youngster vs SA

2nd test vs NZ has a very good chance for Kohli's 100 unless BCCI dishes out rank turner to get a victory. If its turning square, I would just hope Kohli doesnt embarrass himself let alone score a ton.

It was against Eng (Adil Rashid) in the 3rd and final odi.  Back in 2018 ,on our tour of Eng.   I think u are referring to that.
