Pujara is better. Did better both in aus and England. But he too doesn't have much going on for him. Neither Kohli.

You cannot replace all at once, lets at least begin with one.

 

From the article it seems Rohit is getting way more say in selection matters, which is why this might be happening. Also looks like Kohli might get replaced from tests captain soon

Exactly .. we need to phase out one after another. It might be Pujara or Kohli next.

Rohit should be captain and Ashwin vice captain.

Relieve Kohli from his misery and let him focus on his batting.

One under-performimg batsman at a time. We are already doing better when only 2 of them are in the X1. Pujara's false dawn won't last for long and he will be gone soon, leaving Kohli without any protective cover.

Rohit as VC is another two steps back so basically it nullifies all good done by ditching Rahane as VC

Why not have someone like Pant as VC ,groom him for future job

Making Rohit VC is useless, what is the point in doing it.Rohit is one bad series away from being kicked out as a test batsman.Let us not forget his issues as a batsman.Pant should be made VC, he is sure starter in away tests and he needs to be groomed for future captaincy.

Other than England series, he rarely did anything away from home. Even there he scored one 100 only despite being in form.

 

Being our best batsman for last two years does not take that big deal. Everyone else stunk.

 

Making Rohit captain would be big mistake.He is one bad series away from being dropped.

2 50s in Aus and great at home. As an opener hes been good everywhere so far
