Our captain is busy promoting Pinterest and will be preaching about how to celebrate Diwali

So this has escalated.

Some Twitter users got pissed off at Kohli preaching about how to celebrate Diwali (paid promotion for Pinterest). They began trending #SunoKohli telling him how to bat and how to lead a cricket side. Kohli PR didn't like it and started trending #SunoModiKeKutton last night and today they are trending #RWKaBaapKohli

Not going to end well for the Kohli PR for making it Kohli vs Modi.

Kohli himself is a fully fledged right winger. The only thing I dislike about him. From that farmers protest Rihaana waala post to telling fans to go to some other country if they don't like Indian batsman. That's how you spot a right winger.

Ye Mental patient ki itni aukaad to hai nahi ki uski batting legacy ya superstar status ko neeche laaye to bas yahi 2 kaudi ke kaam karwalo.

So you are ok with Rihanna's (obviously paid) tweets on India's domestic issue but angry on Kohli tweeting about it.

Rihanna probably won't be able to spot India on the world map let alone know any thing about Indian farm bills.

Sportspersons and Filmstars should stay away from giving socio-political gyaan , unless they want to have a career in politics.

Reason is their influence far out matches their knowledge on the topic they are preaching. Also, they are mainly motivated by money and fame, rather than the actual welfare of the society.

Dhoni is the best example. Minds his business and makes loads of money. Yet literally everyone loves him. From right to left wingers. From Northies to Southies. Even an average Pakistan fan respects Dhoni more than Kohli, despite all of Kohli's PR.
