Harshal Patel: 'There's nothing wrong in bowling 24 slower balls in a T20 spell'

If a constant barrage (versus use as a surprise) of slow balls work for him, great ... But usually picking the balls, irrespective for their speeds, in the slot is not an issue for the batsman.

In India, the ball grips on many pitches (Look at Ind's spinners record at home v away), which helps such bowlers. But thinking that batsman are just going to hold out (unless trying to hit every ball out of the park) because grounds are big is being wishful.

Hopefully, he has a few more tricks up his sleeve.

Of all the teams in the world, he had to walk in to RCB!!

Nothing wrong as he has been among RCB's key performers (but selectors need to understand that IPL was played at selected venues in  "India and UAE" recently) ... As for RCB, the issue would be once RCB starts playing at B'lore where the pitches are flat and boundaries short. If traded to CSK for e.g., Harshal would work better on Chennai pitches.

The sad thing is ROHIT SHARMA who is the moron who selected this fool is always lauded as the best captain ever by this forum.

So this forum deserves such selections until they actually start blaming the true culprit.

It's almost like Rohit has got back to a shell where he is so scared of the results since Asia Cup that he rather lose with a lower margin than take the risk and aim for winning the whole tournament.

I mean death bowling by Bhuvi and Harshal HAHA - the Aussies, England, SA etc. must be salivating at this proposition.

Even Bhuvi is so one dimensional now that he can't bowl yorkers that he bowls wide off-side of the crease at 130kph. Batsmen already know what they will face, so they can prepare easily for these.

Yet fans don't question Rohit Sharma who had Siraj, Shami, Umran, Mohsin and so many other pacers who are infinitely better than these two. So you all Rohit Sharma supporters deserve this team.
