Harshal Patel: 'There's nothing wrong in bowling 24 slower balls in a T20 spell'

If a constant barrage (versus use as a surprise) of slow balls work for him, great ... But usually picking the balls, irrespective for their speeds, in the slot is not an issue for the batsman.

In India, the ball grips on many pitches (Look at Ind's spinners record at home v away), which helps such bowlers. But thinking that batsman are just going to hold out (unless trying to hit every ball out of the park) because grounds are big is being wishful.

Hopefully, he has a few more tricks up his sleeve.

Nothing wrong as he has been among RCB's key performers (but selectors need to understand that IPL was played at selected venues in  "India and UAE" recently) ... As for RCB, the issue would be once RCB starts playing at B'lore where the pitches are flat and boundaries short. If traded to CSK for e.g., Harshal would work better on Chennai pitches.

He was a good fit for RCB. I spotted him early and knew he would succeed in IPL.
