Pak Vs SA becomes the most important game now for this group - its in Condition that wud suit Pakistan

I want Zim and Bangladesh to qualify from our group

assuming no more washouts & surprises, and the worst from ind - losing against sa, the scenario is:

ind 8 points, pak 6 points, sa 7 points with pak-sa to go. Considering all scenarios for that match, ind goes through; 1st or 2nd.

 

Ind can even get a bit tactical and throw the match away depending on which team they would prefer in the semi, e.g. to avoid australia. 

 

All of this is assuming Ind getting full points with the minnows and with clear weather. 

 

Another important point is: NRR is not going to get important here (most likely). SA is going to have odd number of points.

There can be more washouts. Ek to T20 . Upar se yeh baarish. Too much uncertainty

Saffers deserve better than a washout vs Zimbabwe especially with such scenario when time goes out and all they need is a couple of more overs to win the game.

Ind have to consider getting Pant in for more some of the matches, instead of Rahul maybe.

Unfortunately this isn’t an option since BD is our last game after SA. If we lose to SA then the match vs BD becomes a high pressure game and you already know how the likes of KL and Rohit will perform in such a scenario

You underestimate SA. This is Australia. Conditions suit SA more. Bet it batting or bowling

Remember Aussie broadcast would have this duck walking if a batsman would get out on zero. Pak no 4 to 8 against SA on the tracks we have seen thus far which have bounce could call that duck a few times. That guy Asif Ali how the heck is he a batsman in any team playing wc.
