It has favored India if anything. Assuming no more upsets or rain affected matches, India will go through and PAK RSA is a knockout.

Yeah more or less..  Pak did  beat SA in 2015 WC but that was in NZ.

SCG was quite flat in Aus v NZ game this time.  So let's see.

Take it one game at a time, upsets very much possible in this fickle format. Forget other teams, better focus on how we do....but take it one step at a time, don't look too far ahead.

Considering the dynamics of Group 2: without accounting for upsets or rains, it was always among Ind, SA, & Pak. The winner of Ind v Pak was going to be front runner as the loser would need to beat SA and hope that the winner of the opening group game also beats SA to not get into a 3 way tie for NRR.

The potential washouts/upsets can create interesting scenarios.

Maybe it just takes less time to copy link than to type the whole think. Not the type of analysis you have to give credit for.

I take it that the guy “Johns” is widely followed … Twitter for me is mainly to get updates like which player is selected, what a cricketer is doing, etc. Haven’t used it for cricket related stuff in a while (usually look at it during IPL)

This actually reminds me if the WC 15 in Australia ,We won the first 2 matches against Pak and Saf and were sitting Comfortably at the top of the Group knowing well the job has been done.

I was more interested in Pak-Saf ,Pak-Wi ,Pak-Zim ,Wi-Zim matches for the next 2 weeks back then lol

Pak Vs SA becomes the most important game now for this group - its in Condition that wud suit Pakistan

Its pakistans nitemare scenario as rabada ngidi nortje will go full tilt against hapless pakistani middle order peppering them with short balls.. it being sydney maharaj shamsi is as good as nawaz shadaab.. so its the game of batsmenship which will decide..

i am just checking weathers. Perth anyway is dry. At least for Sydney, Adelaide & Perth till 2nov, India have good weather.

I have wasted my life checking and forecasting australian weather right from the brisbane day 5 to india pakistan match on sunday.. it is never accurate..

Would prefer Sydney. Team has good memories there.

We lost 2015 SFs at the SCG. :((

Adelaide is Kohli's favourite ground amd Rohit won us the WC QF there.

Long way to go but it depends on the opponent as well.
