That was the excuse given last time too, that he ran fast to convert 2’s and 3’s.

DK is rubbish and as always been the case, salute to his pr that have dragged his career on this far, his odi strike rate of 72 proves his quality, even whenbhe batted at the top in odis during 2008-10 he would hit a few crisp drives, leg lances and then getting nicked of to thilan tushara and co, I think it was the 3rd odi against England in Bristol during 2018 series, kohli was at complete ease, this fraud was batting on 21 not out, partnership going on well, he gives himself to a pretty wide bowl from adil Rashid, big booming drive, inside out, India in trouble after being four, zero awareness, could have easily got 280, ended up 250. I failed to notice that. I won't be shocked if it was DK's idea.  Doesn't he know straight boundaries are smaller. Not that it matters as he smashed him for 104 meter six. Poor poor game awareness. 3 overs 43 runs  of which 4 sixes. Only one six came off short ball which Markram muscled.

He was looking jittery from the start and struggling to middle even single ball. His 6 off 15 was the worst, even coming at 5/49 that was stupid innings. His keeping is also all over the place.. Laughable that we don't even have good replacement in squad...Pant is another failed T20 player, definitely an upgrade over DK but India definitely have better keepers waiting who are better than those 2 in this format. Pant's failure in this format is really puzzling.. 62 t20 is no joke..

Nobody is good enough. We just have to continue iterating them over and over and find someone more consistent.  Kishan/Samson/Pant all 3 have issues one or other. Kishan had enough chances. So did Pant. So our last option is Samson. Let him get 10 games. It is only fair.

In many ways I feel sorry for him. Well passed his prime, of course he was going to make mistakes. With age comes slower reflexes.
