yeah, not a great look.

 

I mean, they are entitled to their personal belief and choices - but I wish such a simple gesture was not 'communalized'.  Unfortunately in today's India, the reality is that the environment is a lot more heated and these guys are in a tough spot.

Not a big deal. But just bad optics. Can’t fault them as they get threatened by trolls with fatwas, see how Irfan Pathan was trolled for posting his wife’s picture without a hijab.

Pretty sure a few non Muslims(Hindus?) also refused it. Not a big deal but then I'd prefer most of these guys remain consistent & not pander to foreign traditions as well

I have never declined a tikka but if someone wants to, it is their choice.

 

It is a simple gesture to welcome someone. Let us not make a big deal about it.
