Should we strategically rest bumrah in atleast 2 to 3 games going forward?

Now that semis spot for India is more or less fixed, should we rest bumrah stratgically..

 

He came out from injury and we have use him carefully...

 

On the spinning tracks and on the matches against Scotland...

 

What do you guyz say??

yes we should give Shami a few games, we can even start with Bangladesh game. But our team is conservative, I don't expect changes until the semis spot is a mathematical certainty.

No need. There is plenty of gap between games. Players also need continuity to maintain their rhythm. Someone above is saying we have to rest in a WC just because we 7 tests to play after the WC. You are talking about resting in freaking WC. You better rest him in the test series instead. We will rather play debutants there in Prasidh.

Dharamsala , Prasidh is a genuine option. He gets natural bounce. Pitch is bouncier.

Its a long tournament. They might be tired towards end and we can't afford it in knockouts. Specially fast bowlers.

 

My guess they'll start resting after qualification is confirmed. We play Ned last so Bumrah/Pandya can skip it.

The gap between NZ and Eng is 7 days. I think all players and staff will get a sort of 3-4 days mini break, in which they get to go to home.

If we matches very close..like 2-3 days apart..rest him..if 5-7 days apart we may play him..dont want to disturb his playing rythm..if he playing next match after 10-12 days..I need to see whats Indian team schedule looks like..

Thanks Eng SL and SA are close..perhaps we can rest him against SL..then enough time will be there fir him to recover and also keep the engine warmed up
