Kohli or Jaiswal for the semi-final clash?

Since Kohli has been scoring next to nothing, even if Jaiswal scores 20 runs in 10 balls, it would be an upgrade and we wouldn't be losing much. Will Rohit Sharma have the courage to make this crucial change by dropping Kohli?

If we are lucky, India's semi final will be a washout with no reserve day, India straight to final possibly facing SA/Afghanistan.

Forecast for Guyana pretty bad.

Line up is not going to change at this stage.

That pull shot again  He played the same at chennai  and Marsh dropped his catch. He got out similarly in a few matches.  He should stick to rolling the wrist. He is not an enforcer. If he tries to be one he will end up performing worse than Dube. INdia is stuck with a guy who will get out if he pushes beyond 3rd gear in the power play.

Kohli should not be playing this WC and definitely not as an opener. However, can't drop him before a SF now. Also can't expect jaiswal to come in and play well in a SF. Complete blunder from morons Dravid and management.

Why not bring in Jaiswal for semis? Dhoni brought in Raina in place of failing Yusuf Pathan directly in a tough QF against Aus in 2011. Surely they can bring in Jaiswal to open in a T20 :dontknow:

Jaiswal should not be thrown into KO now. Let 2 time MOTT winner and chase master feel the heat now. Not matter how much Kohli fans worship him, His legacy will be tainted if he bags another single digit score. Unacceptable tournament for even greats of the game...

Simple answer "No".

Jaiswal has been given in the place in Zim T20 as a token considering he won't be playing any game in this WC.

Rohit will hang up post this T20 WC, Kohli will 95% play the next T20 WC as well.

Dube hasn't been bowling despite being picked as an allrounder. We could pick Jaiswal instead of him and make him open. Kohli can go back to #3 and Pant can bat at 4.

It was pre-decided not to play Jaiswal. While this gym freak was resting in India, Jaiswal despite in the squad didn't get to bat in warm up game, it was clear sign that Kohli will open no matter what. Jaiswal scoring quick-fire fifty would mean the pre-plan of making Kohli opener would not be fulfilled. It is obvious now that TM is being stubborn and Kohli being egomaniac, there will be no change in batting order. It hasn't costed us yet as 2 Kohli fans are parroting everyday here, Will it cost us or not- that's the different question as it is a team game but the timing and the malevolence behind it is baffling. This is selection blunder or pre planned scam to make some other players sit out, Rohit fasto needed 4 spinners while one is forever on bench and no sign of him playing and could have added pacer/batter. While Kohli the opener was their plan, then atleast another middle order batter-Rinku should have been picked over Yashaswi.

With this atleast it is proved that Kohli is just another leechad like Dhongi.
