That's quite a bit. The money is there. We need to find a way to keep the athletes accountable. I'm even ok with the 4th place finishes and people losing due to pressure of the situation. What I'm not ok with is that bitch who came 41 out of 43, trains in europe for walking of all sports, has a govt job and busy doing insta reels. @velu will win olympic medal with his brisk walking without training

I read India wants to host Olympics in 2032 or beyond.

 

The cost of hosting Olympics is 10-14 Billion USD now.It will only be more then.

 

That 3400 cr budget needs to be increased three times before India hosts Olympics otherwise as a host we will be a disgrace.

Ambani family wants to earn money on everything. I did not understand what Nita Ambani was doing in Paris in the first place.

 

Indian govt spends 4000 crores, these showoffs spend few crores but act as if they are the ones who have been paying for everything and getting free publicity.

If there are 4000 crores available for hosting Olympics I would prefer this money was invested by the GOI on school infrastructure level to provide gyms, pools, athletic tracks, hockey AstroTurf, table tennis tables etc

Sorry but hockey never interested me..its stupid penalty corner rule and most goal coming from that is a deal breaker.If somebody wants to stop a hard hockey ball with their body then let them and not interrupt the flow of the game.one of the main reasons it has remained an extremely niche sport is it is boring and lack of goals in regular play.it has now dissolved into teams actively trying to hit opponents legs so they can get a penalty corner.

You cannot host Oympics with 4000 crores.

Exactly...Paris hosted with a budget of USD 10 BN which is around 80000 cr. And this is considered a relatively economical one compared to other Olynpcis.

It is ridiculous that they made this an Olympic sport. Olympics are becoming more and more dance oriented these days. They introduce ridiculous sports just to inflate western or Chinese medal counts.

We need to identify 4-5 multimedal sports, identify and train athletes for that, give them best training if they want to host Olympics.
