These rules are just a smokescreen to give fans some reassurance that they are doing something in response- in reality nothing will happen This so called injury and promotion of Kohli as the face of Indian cricket is an insult to the cricket viewing public's intelligence. Not sure why the BCCI thinks that this walking wicket will bring in eyeballs and revenue.
Forever Indian Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 “Participation in domestic matches is mandatory for players to remain eligible for selection in the national team and for central contracts, as per BCCI guidelines." “Non-compliance may lead to disciplinary action as deemed appropriate by the BCCI. Additionally, the BCCI reserves the right to take disciplinary action against a player, which may include (i) sanction against the concerned player from participating in all BCCI-conducted tournaments, including the Indian Premier League, and (ii) deducting from the retainer amount/match fees under the BCCI Player contract." Haha. BCCI and their funny rules that no one cares about...

Haha. BCCI and their funny rules that no one cares about... Kohli and Rohit will be like to the new Sec of BCCI- abe laude who are you, we have backing of IPL Corporate and Media lobby that pays for BCCI revenue so if they want to keep us in Indian team we will be. BCCI is the most inept and powerless board who despite earning billions of dollars cant be a force for good in indian cricket and improve the overall standard of cricket. No wonder we're a laughing stock. There will come a time when Indian players chose early retirements and be compensated more by IPL franchises to keep fit for IPL- at some point not many players will want to play for India raki05 1

cricspirit Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 Pant and Jadeja are playing domestics. We definitely had the issue in their batting. They will need to get better and make sure they never fail to compensate for top order collapses. Roko can rest and get well in time to make Indian top order collapses so that Pant, Jadeja and party can use their practice. Lord, raki05, saransh and 2 others 1 3 1

Ultimate_Game Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 Neck sprain! Probably while craning his neck chasing deliveries wide outside off, or he just had a chat with Gill to come up with an innovative excuse Either way, not surprised one bit. We all know what the "King" and "Hitman" think about domestic cricket. Had it been IPL, he would've played the match while wearing a neck brace. raki05, Chaos, Gollum and 1 other 4
