maybe due to mass cancellations, you can book it at a lower price :dontknow:

Perhaps. But not looking to save money here. Kashmir tourism can do with some extra ₹.

It’s cancelled leaves ( a whole host of us were planning to travel) and rescheduling that is the issue.

Difficult to get back the terror heads. But we should have pushed for return of Jadhav at least, at least that would have been a symbolic victory.

Dude, my gut says he's already been returned, but not publicly. REmember we grabbed one of their retired ISI colonels in Nepal - tricked him by offering a job on linkedin for $100,000 - I'm sure an exchange was worked out.

@sandeep We are winning this exchange. Agreeing to a ceasefire now should come with huge benefits for us.

The idea of this conflict was to show Pak that terror attacks come at a price. We haven’t yet totally demonstrated that.

Benefit has come. We know where were militarily. We know who are our direct enemies. We got taste of how info wars works. We have pulled out of IWT. The insurgent elements in Pak are emboldened. Pak army especially PAF is shell shocked. You will see folks pulling out.

Instead of killing 25 at one go, Pawks should launch smaller terror attacks and kill 4-5 Indians every week. No outrage, and then no pressure to act.

These politicians react only when there is massive outrage or when some election is around the corner (Pulwama).

In Reasi attack last year only 10 pilgrims were killed because bus fell into gorge before they could individually kill all the occupants, hence no outcry.

Imp thing is IWT suspension stands. Halal not jhatka.

You know that I do respect your opinion immensely.

However here, you are being facetious.

We won the war/skirmish. Agreeing to a ceasefire now we will lose the peace.

It looks like we have inflicted a lot of damage to their air bases yesterday night .

Pawkees are seething in anger at the news of this ceasefire

Pawkees are getting beaten left and right at both fronts.

They expected China & Kanglus to support...both remained at bay.

After surrender of 50 soldiers in Waziristan...they realized they're gonna lose badly.

We had booked a trip to Kashmir for the 21st of May. A lot of people we know were raving about this resort called Khyber.

We cancelled it. Now thanks to Trump the cancellation is wasted.

All the more reason to hate the USA.

should be easy to contact and rebook. best time to plan travel to Kashmir. Hotels will be deserted and tourist spots will be uncrowded. People will be happy for your business.

Pak could upgrade to next gen weapons probably hypersonic (begging bowl out).

Their established revenge mindset could fuel more terrorist activities.

War is fought in pairs - the loser of the first war (here Pak portrays itself as the attacked party) initiates the second war. Therefore, if India took an action like this, it was necessary to inflict as much damage to their military infrastructure as possible as possible.

Yam, lets get real. There is no ceasefire. There is only a pause.  I assure you next conflict will happen in weeks / months. The internal churn in Pakistan will make it easier for us as they try to absorb what has transpired. Most importantly paradigm has shifted. They know that rules of engagement have changed. For the first time in my life time, both them and us believe that this anomaly called Pakistan would struggle to exist.

For the record, at the moment I am not happy with this. But I do see some upsides.

1)Total destruction of all terror infrastructure with 50 km of the LoC/Border

2) Hand over of Dawood/Lakhvi

3) Destruction of major assets of Pak Air Force

4) Destoying Pak Navy.

5) Sinking all Pak merchant ships/oil tankers till they acquiesce to our demands.
