I guess trump is a friend of India.... initially the US was saying 'none of our business' which means pro-india. Only when Pakistani threshold was crossed and nukes were in equation, he pushed for cease fire. Although trump has a keeda of taking credit. it wasn't needed here still he tweeted on cease fire and Kashmir but that's temporary, just needs a single comment from modi. 2. Seizing Pakistani nuclear bombs should be the priority for civilized world including India, the US and Russia. diga, mishra, raki05 and 1 other 2 2

What has world's biggest exporters data got to do with that tweet ? Seems like you are the one misleading. The original tweet simply said that perfomance of indigenous weapons would give Indian companies am edge in African market. No rocket science. Wars are used to test weapons and bargain contracts. Now by edge, the tweet didn't imply that it will make India biggest exporter in the world. But every weapon mfg observes perfomance and takes notes. Not sure why you had feel insecure by that statement. Defence sector is massive opportunity for growth in india because it's at a low base. Edge is not technology but cost. Already grown 50x in 3 years. People can make money including so called global citizens. The chart does support what is being implied. The tweet spoke about “India almost replacing China as the most powerful military in the Asia theatre (whatever theatre is supposed to mean)”. It hasn’t. It is an inaccurate statement. Even in terms of arms exports, India is not among top exporters. Growth rates are aligned with where you start. If you start from zero, you growth rates would be higher: Say you sold 10 units in year 1 and 60 in year 2, you growth is 5x. If you sold 100 units in year 1 and 170 in year 2, your growth rate is relatively less. This is similar manipulation that we constantly see on SM. I don’t know why such pointless tweets would be posted here unless you yourself don’t understand what’s in play and are impressed by inaccuracy! Edited May 11, 2025 by zen straighttalk 1

Given the effectiveness of Indian weapons in the last week, many are hoping for a bright future for Indian defence exports. Will it happen? It depends on lot of other factors too I think... The tweet posted was an exaggeration but many of us in ICF are aware of these extrapolations. Doesn't mean that we are cynical on every positive news raki05 and coffee_rules 1 1
