The 67-year-old stressed that both veterans had five years of Test cricket left in them. He also went on to say that the baton wasn’t handed over to the Shubman Gill by Rohit Sharma but thrown at the 25-year-old. "Virat and Rohit shouldn't have retired from Tests. I told Rohit to get up at 5 AM and run for 20 km to keep himself fit. Virat and Rohit can still play for another 5 years in Test cricket. They should have played. They should be there to see that the baton is passed to the youngsters, just like Sourav Ganguly did. The baton has not been passed, it has been thrown to Gill," said Yograj in a conversation with InsideSport.

Average IQ of Indians is 76. Yograj does nothing to disprove that.

Did Rahul hold any baton why is he playing still. Why is the guy whose avg in last years are as follows.

2018- 22.28 avg

2019-22.00

2021-46

2022-17

2023-28

2024-35

2025-19

This guy  Rahul 's avg is 32 in last 5 years and our captain's avg is 35. Rohit Sharma is Bradman compared to these two guys.

There was no baton to pass to begin with.

Rohit himself was a disgrace to the test team with his lack of fitness pathetic captiancy and embarassing overseas performances

rohit was just given captaincy in passing

Cause Rohit ate baton.
