Poor Puneet Issar gets blamed for the injury Amitabh suffered. But Amitabh actually landed on the edge of a table during a fight scene and that caused the spleen injury. He had no pulse when he was rushed to a hospital in Bangalore right after the injury, was declared clinically dead at the hospital before being revived and an immediate surgery conducted. Was shifted to Breach Candy Mumbai where he remained for nearly two.months and had multiple other surgeries to prevent any internal bleeding.

 

The low vitals for Shreyas in the dressing room post the injury reminded me of exact same scary scenario. Thank God he recieved immediate medical care and is now out of danger. May he recover fully and back to normal health as soon as possible.

Man that was one heck of an effort from Iyer on the field. Hopefully he recovers soon and is back on the field. Indian team needs him.

Yes it will take time to heal and recover , its not normal.

He is a young guy, he will recover in months. The biggest danger with internal injuries is immediate bleeding out or permanent damage if not treated.

 

But once the danger period passes healing is faster than external injuries. He will be fine in 6 months or so. And it's not going to affect his external physical prowess.

In Indian conditions he's a crucial weapon,that's a huge loss for us 

Would have wanted him in the squad and in the xi

Also going to affect his IPL participation may take part in second half though

Yes Parag deserves a run. Tilak and Rinku should be two other contenders. KL can move to 4. No top order batsmen please.

imo if they pick Parag they can play Tilak in the 11 too and drop Washi.
