Cricketics Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Let the fun begin. We had Rahane, Mishra, Bhuvi and Pandey who sat out today for this game. What changes would you make for the next odi? I will bring Mishra for Ashwin and Bhuvi comes in for Umesh.. I will give another game to Dhawan and Yuvi as removing them after 1 game doesn't make sense.

BCCI Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Dhawan is on extremely thin ice.He was supposed to be a replacement for Sehwag but he has been far from that.He has accumulated runs & has a good record but he is just not the kind of opener our team needs.We need someone like a Roy who plays fearless modern day ODI cricket.Rishabh Pant is quite ready for that role. surajmal Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 I would take dhawan out for Pant and Yuvraj out for Pandey. That along with Bhuvi (for Ashwin) is my team for Champions trophy. If Shami and Tailunt get healthy, they can replace Umesh and Pant.

King Tendulkar Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 Same team for one game then maybe replace bhuvi for yadav and the rahane for either dhawan or yuvraj depending which one flunks guys who I would not drop for whole series as want them to play all games are Pandya , jhadav, Raul ( I like his personality, modern ) , bhumrah , kohli ( can never burn out )
