I'm starting to hear it everywhere. Even KL Rahul in the post match was saying blah blah etc would be good for Team India.

 

It's a test match not the Olympics.

Team India rolls off the tongue easily. Not only that, cricket is what we hang our hat on. If we were doing well in Olympics and such, it may be different.

Goose, I see what you trying to say however respectfully  I have opposite views. Hear me out. 

 

When Indian team get thrashed by Aussies, I don't want to read, "India got Thrashed" or when Pakistan beats us,  headlines like "Pakistan destroyed India" would make me angry. It's rather read or hear Team Pakistan defeated Team India. Our cricket team doesn't represent India but our Indian cricket team. When Sreesanth, Ajharuddin, Jadeja cheated and match fixed, they shouldn't represent India but Indian cricket team. Kohli while saying MC BC represents Team India not India the nation.

So happy to hear Team India, better then hearing the whole team is about tendulkar growing up.
