goose Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I'm starting to hear it everywhere. Even KL Rahul in the post match was saying blah blah etc would be good for Team India. It's a test match not the Olympics. New guy, North Sea Tiger, Sidhoni and 1 other 2 2
fineleg Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) goose???? what do you want him to say? For australian team?? Edited March 6, 2017 by fineleg G_B_ and Gollum 2
goose Posted March 6, 2017 Author Posted March 6, 2017 Well if it's an Indian player talking what about just saying 'us'. If it's some guy on a forum i think 'India' would suffice.
fineleg Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 so its a matter of preference saying one versus another. Goose pissed off at somethin else?
goose Posted March 6, 2017 Author Posted March 6, 2017 Nobody else says Team New Zealand, or Team South Africa do they? It's lunish.
Popular Post maniac Posted March 7, 2017 Popular Post Posted March 7, 2017 Maybe starting with Bismillah eh rehmaaney raheem would have over powered everything else. Sidhoni, Laaloo, gattaca and 12 others 15

Not only that, cricket is what we hang our hat on. If we were doing well in Olympics and such, it may be different.

rahulrulezz Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Goose, I see what you trying to say however respectfully I have opposite views. Hear me out. When Indian team get thrashed by Aussies, I don't want to read, "India got Thrashed" or when Pakistan beats us, headlines like "Pakistan destroyed India" would make me angry. It's rather read or hear Team Pakistan defeated Team India. Our cricket team doesn't represent India but our Indian cricket team. When Sreesanth, Ajharuddin, Jadeja cheated and match fixed, they shouldn't represent India but Indian cricket team. Kohli while saying MC BC represents Team India not India the nation. Hope you see my point. New guy and Gollum 2

Sandeep99 Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 I kind-a agree with the OP.. even I'm tired of hearing it...
sandeep Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Oh Potato Potaato. I like the sound of Team India. Goosy doesn't. Goosy's a big fan of Yuvi's post-win expressive celebrations, some others would question it.
G_B_ Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Team ICF will be standing with them CG, Gollum, Mosher and 2 others 5

So happy to hear Team India, better then hearing the whole team is about tendulkar growing up. IF other dnt say.......well ware we going to get rid of the mentality of following other. Kahin likha hai kya pehle dunia karegi to hi hum piche bhed bakriyon ki tarah chalenge Have u forgotten its a team sport
Mosher Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Its just a nice term to use and get behind as fans. Similar to "bleed blue". express bowling and sandeep 2
