Near perfect squad !

Well done  !

Is bumrah in for Odis as well? So he will play 3 odis and 3 T20s before the first test?

Bumrah is very good and has all the tools to succeed but What are his endurance levels for test match bowling? I am not calling him unfit or lazy but when was the last 3+ day Match he played? Being test match ready is also a thing.

No Back up middle order - What happens if one batsman is in horrible form or Injured.

No Kuldeep in Squad - We took Jadeja/Ashwin everywhere last time, they were below average even when they are world class at home. Kuldeep should have been in squad for Jadeja.

Rohit and Dhawan - Walking wickets last time around as well, they haven't improved anything over the time. They will be exposed again.

It is already written, we won't be winning the series with repeating same mistakes from the last time.

Just watched the highlights of the current match.. now I'm more scared of our catching than Steyn and co

Has anyone wondered why all of sudden our fielding is deteriorating. Drop catches and poor fielding are first warning sign of impact of lax attitude Shashtri has brought. Mark my word,  Next, we will be loosing tight matches and converting easy wins into tight ones

Rohit (acc to Kohli) is middle-order

And if Rohit is injured - then either Dhawan or KLR is the backup middle order (again, as per Kohli)

Leg spinner missing in the squad yes.

Yes

they probably think its all the practice he needs apart from the tour match but SA ODI wickets are vastly different from the test tracks.

Too bad Kuldeep couldn't find a spot. He could have been a wild card for us.

Its Kohli,he doesnt trust him AT ALL.even before Shastri came back in he didnt play Kuldeep against the aussies and he only played him because Kumble put his foot down.

I'm expecting bowlers with natural outswingers to do well. So it would  be Ishant and Shami and Umesh too. I hope bhuvi proves me wrong. Outswingers = slip catching opportunities galore.

BK and Umesh are the ones who bowl conventional outswingers. While Shami, Bumrah and Ishant seam the ball around.

May be but  think Bhuvi is more of a natural inswinger. Reason I say this is bcoz of Sreesanths success in 2006. Hope somebody can repeat that. Imagine us toppling a top team inside 100 overseas.
