Abeyyy.... Dhoni has already taken us in the darkest phase ever in last 5years of  his captaincy we are just recovering.

What sort of a pathetic stat is this. obviously non Asians teams find it easier to win in non Asian countries. Reverse the filter and the rankings will reverse.

Dhoni retiring from tests is the right decision. First of all Saha is a better keeper and his batting faliures alone did not lose us the match. Secondly had Dhoni been in the squad he will be the focus of blame, now the team management are in the spotlight.

Kohli is an uneducated Northerner, but an exemplary talent with the bat. He should stick to batting. Shastri than tall, obese, overpaid clown must be kicked out. Smarter and more astute people must be in-charge of running the operations.

Please Dhoni’s captaincy was dreadful before he quit. But he could have stayed on as a WK batsman in the team. He surely is a hell of a lot better than the current lot plus the team needs some veteran presence. We should look beyond Parthiv, Saha, etc and look for a young talent and throw him in the fire and let him learn.

That will also not happen. You know the ODI team is also a bunch of “Yaarana” team.

Gavaskar either says something with an agenda or something has no relevance . I dont see the point of talking about Dhoni now 2 years after his retirement .

I think he retired at a perfect time , had he continued it would have made his Captaincy record look a lot better , but he  stepped down allowing Virat to get a good number of home tests and gain some experience before the team starts with next round of away series . This is how you ease a newbie into a role , be it a captain or a batsmen . Virat has been lucky both ways , as a captain also as a batsmen as good as he is , he was supported well in early days .Shame that he does not realize its his turn to do the same with other players now .

That is the bane of Indians preventing them from succeeding. Yarana and chalta hain approaches. Funny thing is once they come to a foreign land, many of these shed these traits and go on to have real success.
