zen
If the match is abandoned, we should have new banners on the ground -> "Run SA Run" (Run Forest Run) Edited January 26, 2018 by zen maniac 1 Link to comment
sandeep
So it looks like the decision depends on South Africa agreeing to resumption of play. Without that, the match would be abandoned. There needs to be some proper media coverage and spotlight on what South Africa choose to do, overnight. Unless there's visible pressure on them, being exposed for this, they are unlikely to resume - and will stay hiding behind the referee's skirts. If both captains agree to play when india is batting then FAF/SA is the reason why match is at this stage. They have to kidding if they think they can escape under this pretext, this has been the most incompetent umpiring also.Elgar just did not want to bat and he was scared like hell. mishra
2-0 looks sounds so so sweeter than 2-1. Take it on Chin and moove on. I posted on match thread that South Africa will take the opportunity. Why not? However ICC should black list the ground Link to comment

Assuming that these two decisions are not unilateral, what happens when one captain wants to play and other does not. Is that automatically counted as a decision to not continue? Link to comment

mishra
Seriously, Indian themselves have to blame had they got right players from test 1, things wouldn't have come to this. South Africa decided to rub it in. But blame lies solely on Kohli and Shashtri for pathetic team selection. Mofos were still justifying exclusion of Rahane till game 3. If it wasnt critical Indian media, it would have been 3-0 Forever Indian, SandeepMotta, zen and 3 others 1 5 Link to comment

I would presume that unless both Captains push for resumption, its unrealistic to expect that the ICC will reverse its decision and resume play. And its also unrealistic to expect South Africa to come forward and risk their players for injuries and take the impending L as they actually should. If they are willing to hide behind the umpire's question of player safety, and agree with it, then they shouldn't have been head-hunting Indian tailenders a few short minutes ago. asterix
Weren’t SA unleashed it’s “nativ” bowlers, who bowled round the wicket body line, on Indian tail Enders?I knew they’re Chokers... never thought they’re Cowards too...Where’s Prinzo? Looks like he too gone hiding... Link to comment

I cannot put it any better, Morkel was bouncing Indian tailenders round the wicket and all the three bozos (Gould , Dar and MR) were watching but the moment Elgar puts on a show it becomes dangerous. kubrickian
Even Shami smashed Morkel and Rabada for sixes on this pitch and "opener" Elgar couldnt play out a few overs. What a joke. Why are Saffers such cowards ? Something in their history perhaps ? They always seem to piss their pants when under pressure. Sean Bradley 1 Link to comment
