Its a Shoot-out between Kartik and Raina

For t-20s inspite of kartik in much better form than Raina,
I get a feeling that raina just edges out kartik

Reason- Raina is a 6th bowling option Kartik dosn't bowls

2)Scarcity of Left handers behind dhawan in the team

3)slightly better fielder and more international experience 

I suggest play none. Instead play umesh and play hardik at no. 6. LOlz

Raina has become worse against short pitch balls. You know how. Earlier he used to express his discomfort against short balls only after ball is pitched or about to deliver. Now he is worried even from non strikers end.

The remaining 2 spots is among Karthik, Rohit and Raina.

 

On form Karthik should get the nod, but if they need 6th bowler Raina is a chance. 

 

I don't mind any combination amongst these players. Only things - Rahul should not be dropped and Manish should not be picked.

Surprised to see this discussion..Karthick was outstanding in Nidahas trophy..he won us the tournament with last ball six ..

 

Raina can come at anyone else's expense but karthick deserves a serious go in ODI's and T20's at this moment.

Quite a few tall bowlers in England as well. Anyways his issues has become more mental with him expecting bouncers and standing well back most times. Even Trundlers can bother someone with that mental state.

Karthick can keep wkts and raina cannot.

Chase to Raina, OUT, short ball on the ribs and a very awkward short-arm pull from Raina. He's backing away and looking to nudge it into the leg side, but he gets a top edge that deep square leg takes comfortably
