Ankit_sharma03 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 “India must stick with Shikhar Dhawan for the first Test. He looked in very good touch in the limited-overs games, and made a hundred in the first session of the game in his last Test appearance, against Afghanistan. He must be encouraged to go out and play freely, without the fear of failure weighing on his mind, because that’s when he is at his most dangerous. Shikhar can take the game away from the opposition very early, and if he can stamp his authority on James Anderson and Stuart Broad, it will neutralise England’s biggest threats,” Laxman, who played 134 Tests for India, opined. asterix Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Man, Dhavan has unleashed no holds barred PR campaign...He doesn’t needs to actually... As long as his wife is in the WAGs friend circle of Anoushka, he shouldn’t worry too much of his place in the team... raki05, Switchblade, The Dark Horse and 1 other 3 1

CoverDrive Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 left right combination ke naam pe kisi ko bhi khila lo. I would not be so unhappy if they still play Rahul instead of Pujara who has been in terrible form
sensible-indian Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 (edited) Here, Laxman had to support Dhawan. Compulsions. But even otherwise, he is a horrible analyst. Was praising Rahane's knock in WT20 SF during break when it was clear that he had screwed the team. Many ICFers would be better analysts than 90% of our ex-cricketers whose knowledge and understanding level is very basic. Austin 3:!6 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I agree with Laxman. You cant drop a batsman who just created a record by scoring a century before lunch in last test. He must play the first test at least. I would drop either Vijay or Pujara to accommodate Rahul. Gollum, adi B and Switchblade 1 2

Sandeep99 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Feel Shikhar adds more value than Pujara. Drop Pujara and play Rahul.
coffee_rules Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 (edited) Pujara is hopelessly out of form in the summer, it takes even a Pair against county second X1 from Dhawan to be opted before Pujara. Edited August 1, 2018 by coffee_rules

Laxman's team selection are generally poor and IPL tinted.
sscomp32 Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 He got angry on aakash in star show when aakash said dhawan wouldn't have played afg test if kohli was available.

nikred Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 I always notice VVS bigging up SRH players whenever he gets the opportunity. Foreign players included. Nothing wrong but I wouldn't take him seriously, there is clear bias. [emoji12]Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk

Its money man, also ass licking of current corrupt management influenced them to pass Such horrible statement. nikred Posted August 2, 2018 Posted August 2, 2018 And yet you had no problem when Tendulkar brought in out of shape buffet guy Ramesh Powar or Sameer dighe or Vijay Dahiya WHILE he was playing At least 1. Laxman is not playing 2. Dhawan is in a different stratosphere than Ramesh teetubby PowarI had no problem as I had no clue. I am not attacking VVS. I just understand where he is coming from. He is a fellow Hyderabadi and his dad was my mom's doctor, no way I can dislike him. [emoji846]Sent from my Redmi Note 4 using Tapatalk UnknownGenius, Switchblade and beetle 3
