The vultures were all over this thread taking potshots at Pandya during the Lords test.  They are all in hiding now.

He had a great game. The jury is still out there. I am not buying into this hype. Next time kindly refrain from using the word vultures.

I have already eaten a dozen humble pies over the weekend and acknowledged in one of my posts. But I still don't like the fact Virat under bowled him yesterday ,he was brought on quite late when the partnership was developing between Stokes and Buttler. Why Virat doesn't trust his bowling that much is a mystery since he continuously plays him.

Also I still maintain he can't be classified as a batting all rounder,he is certainly not a no.6.Jury is still out about his primary skill

yes, he came in to bowl in 36th over.  There was no movement at that time but he kept it tight.

regarding his batting.  A batting alrounder batting.  i will take him if he can average 35-40 in long run and remember he has barely played in India. his average will rise one he plays more at home.

I would like see him averaging early 40s atleast, then he can truly be called a batting all rounder.I don't trust his abilities to play long innings as of yet.

And I agree bowled well but somehow Virat  don't want to bowl unless it's the last resort. Its a paradox he plays him consistently but it seems doesn't rate his bowling much.

our specialist batsmen are averaging around 40 or under 40.
