So, the first two matches were not for reals?

 

Isn't this supposed to be done before the series starts by coaches analyzing conditions, making adjustments, telling the batsmen what the adjustments are, and using practice matches and nets to practice the amended techniques?  

 

I haven't played a ball of truly competitive cricket so I am always going to be cautious about criticising the professionals, but some things seem obviously wrong. Am I totally off here?

Shikhar Dhawan played way back and late than he did in first inning and although there was lot of swing, he looked comfortable. They showed point of impact for him this inning and it was mostly near crease. Earlier his impact was much ahead of crease. 

 

Kohli is standing outside the crease to negate the swing. 

 

Conditions were easy in 2nd session. Important part was that all batsmen were clear about their strokeplay. Rahane was clumsy for first 25-30 runs, but didn't stop going for strokes and probably that's what helped him.

 

First session was no different from conditions of first test. It almost seems like first 2 tests were practice matches for these guys and they have adjusted now.

This is the problem they are here for multiple weeks. Murali Vijay played A tour as well. We are almost midway through series and they are finding these adjustments now really ?

Trying to keep his job. They played one proper test ao they have sorted their bat speeds and temperment. They needed 2 or 3 practice games.

Now need to make tactical changes and throw their batting coach out.

Nah not much was changed. Team would have been out under 200 if conditions were more cloudy or pitch was green. Don't forget England is yet to bat on this pitch and we don't know how much they can score here.

Dude, we are two down in this series. The sun also played a huge part. Top 3 again threw their wickets after getting a start. Stop showing off in the PC, you must be the first person to lose his job.

What were you doing in the last 2 Test matches or during SA tour? Busy counting your salary? He had a full month time to get the batsmen ready before the start of the Test series and now we are already 2-0 down.
