You need that youth like Kohli in 2011, this team is so old and charmless.There is nothing special about this team other than bowling and Kohli.It is so sad they are ruining the great guy's legacy by stinking selections.

Points to be noted:

Dhawan is looking unsure whether to go aerial or ground. This is effecting his shot selection as he has not much run under his belt for quite a long time.

Rohit Sharma still can't play inswing or incoming cutters.

Dhoni should have hit the ball for six which we mistimed. It is just biology vs ego, sadly for dhoni fans.

Kedar jadav suddenly switched off after run a ball innings, dont know why. Suddenly strike rate dipped to 60 and then a stupid shot.

Being very harsh, but kohli/Shankar should have finished the match today. Shankar had a golden opportunity to be a star tonight.Kohli has something with jampa. One of his best innings, simply because of the gaps he found under pressure.

I thought kuldeep jadav was a reliable tailender.he has regressed.

 

Sadly, I had way too much time today watching 80-90 overs of an unimportant odi. Still cannot rub off the attachment with Indian cricket and grow up a bit.

Just a little change. Not just Rohit vs inswing,  None of our playing 11 can play "any swing" .

 

Sir Jadeja was root cause for Shankars failure. You could clearly see that Shankar started panicking because of RRR was creeping while Sir Jadeja was missing/mistiming every delivery he faced

Will not add kohli to the list after eng series. Still, match was in Shankar's hand after 43 ball 63 to win if jadeja could provide singles.no excuse for jadeja though, messed it up in the end. Partially agreeing with your points.

Well so Biryani Rayudu gets another game and he does what was expected.. The only problem with Chahal playing is that the tail looks longish and that's why they are playing Jadeja.. Who is past his best in the Odis

That was one off. He has failed so many times. But our players spent quite a lot of time to get rid of their hangover in first inning.

So I am not even bothered what happened in game.
