Absolutely harsh on pant. He will be discarded since he will barely get a decent chance batting first while has to deliver in tough chasing situations.. ideally pant should have played atleast 25 matches by now to get a definite opinion

Why ppl in Ind wait for players to fail for so long? When a guy is new, he is not drafted in to the 11 in a timely manner .... When he is established but  regressed / past his prime, he is not phased out in a timely manner .... Fans can be happy or sad, but Ind cricket suffers by not being at its optimal strength

atleast its a chance, most times u have to make it in very lil chances
