Good win Team India

Great win today.  Whole team chipped jn.

 

Every team has to eventually play everyone but looking at our starting schedule, many felt that India starts their campaign with 4 tough opponents - Saf, Aus, NZ and Pak. 

 

Beating South Africa and Australia, we couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Yeah...he bowled well last match too but this match was special...as it was game changing.

Good win, but the bowling is looking very wobbly. Bhuvi and Chahal have done well, Bumrah had an off-colour day. However, I am very concerned about the 20 overs from Kuldeep, Pandya and Jadhav. None of them inspire me with much confidence as of now, either as wkt takers or run containers.

Yep, looked like a tough schedule to start with. A bad first 2 games could have derailed the campaign.

Kuldeep bowled well in the middle. He was putting constant pressure on Steve Smith.

Even when the sun is not out, you bat first 9/10 times in a final as Dada found out the hard way

Pak had tulleybaaz batters I doubt most other teams would've folded as bad as they did. Though honestly Aus had a great side then as well as on song, Warne bowled masterfully in both KO games. Have you noticed how they come about swinging 2x ferocity when they've played a close game? Happened in 99 after SF against SA was tied, 2003 SF vs SL was real close, 2015 arguably. Only 2007 they smashed every team they faced, sadly Ind/Pak didn't play them.

Good win. But Australia have shown enough signs to suggest that they are one of top contenders. They weren’t far off.

Yep, if Aus had batted India would have been at receiving end of 350 plus and struggled to chase

 

India bowling needs to improve quickly even if bowling on flat wickets

Great result considering how utterly hopeless our W/L ratio is against Oz in 50 over WCs.

I say this Cup has India written all over it. Will require something extraordinary for any team to compete with India and then hope India has a bad day

If our bowling does well right till the end, including the finale, then we will win. Most sides with superior bowling breeze through the group stages & then depending on conditions, bowling makes a huge difference in KO games. Of course fielding is another aspect, but it's the bowling which could make or break this WC for many teams.
