How can the match be at edge? Has any team ever chased such a huge score after crawling at 4 runs per over for 20 overs? Has any team chased 330 in the history of world cup? They were bound to collapse with the RRR climbing to 8+. Better hitting teams like England and Australia couldn't do it despite much faster starts and you thought pak would chase after crawling at 3, 4 runs per over?

The thing is these days teams possessing depth in batting always pose a danger, so wickets are key. Pak were 1 down, starting to move on and India were 1 main bowler down. I would have agreed with you if Bhuvi was available but India were hamstrung literally yesterday, so that spell of Kuly killed the game.

No, loss is not a surprise.  But the widening gap of loses to India is alarming.

Except for CT - which now we can all can establish was a fluke as you caught India on a bad day.  Pakistan wins - whatever they were in the last 15 years were quite close, but when India has been winning - it is a major thulping

Agree that hardly any team could chase 337 but main problem for India was DL method . Who knows if Pak was 180/1 in 30 overs and rain interupted  then may be match was awarded to them.

But Classless Kohli tried his best by gifting his wicket. He had biggest braifart. I was watching the game. Kohli asks some fieler to go right.

My view is a little different-

Their pace attack is weak- aamir is under 138k pacer , who is no more a terror. Other left armer is good but he is not accurate. Hasan Ali is pure medium pacer.

Spinner imad is poor man's jadeja.

What's there to shame?  This is the weakest Pakistani team to face India in the the World Cups.  India was expected to win here...anything less would have been shameful.  Rohit played a masterstroke eclipsing Kohli.  Openers have that advantage of playing out the most deliveries if they play out the tricky first few overs but Rohit was on fire yesterday.
