Can Pakistan score 600?

Pak will have to win by 330 runs if they bat first or chase whatever target BD sets with over 310 balls remaining in order to surpass Kiwis run rate :phehe:

Oh man, this is cruel! The first scenario is the only theoritical hope. They could score 450 and bundle out BD for 120 or less.

That's clearly a failure of NRR system...

there is actually something in this argument. Pakistan got unfairly punished for one really bad win i think. Worst example of this in 2015 when NZ were chasing after destroying Aussies for a low score. Starc was wreaking havoc and NZ won with 1 wicket but because they won in 30 odd overs the NRR from the match +2.XXX

Maybe they should use the DLS and use some kind of won with what % of resources remaining system

There is nothing in argument. Wickets taken and runs scored is down to the ground and conditions. If you put that in equation , next people will complain for grounds and weather to be exactly same.

Teams know that NRR is irrespective of wickets lost. Still most teams are batting first. Pakistan is lucky to have won against England else we wouldnt be even doing this discussion.
