Yes, their commentators and media will go crazy. But, although NZ were also deserving winners, there's no doubting the fact that Eng has revolutionized the ODI game on flat pattas and were deserving winners at the end. They bat deep, bat fast, and made the strategic move of getting in bowlers who can clock 150+. Whereas the Ind team has been playing in a 2000s mentality of taking it slow, taking it deep, etc.

England deserved the cup based on how they changed their set up and thinking for the one dayers and how much they invested for this cup !

India should take notes as the next cup will be played on our home turf!

Nzl Can be proud of their performance ,for me they share this cup !

The best one day side. Slipped at times in group stages but proved themselves by winning their last 4 must win games.

Will be favourites for the world T20 next year too.

Outstanding. A side that boasted about getting 400 regularly and talked about the first 500 score , in the end on a difficult slow pitch eked out 241 and did just enough to win. Something they missed in the champions trophy 2017 was that plan b and they have shown great character in this rollercoaster ride to the top

Congrats England, but congrats to NZ too for an awesome semi final and finals. I wanted them to lose the finals and get trashed by England because of the semi final, but they stole my heart with their performance in the final!!
